General Manager Tim Oberg explains that parkrun Australia identified the needs of their members by engaging with them directly through different channels such as newsletters,
email and social media. The newsletter is received by 75% of members, and 40% of them open it; Facebook (each of the 61 events has its own Facebook page); and email, which has a 100% open rate (because everyone wants to know what time they ran!).
