There are three areas to consider.

Each has implications for the development of new skills and capacities for leaders, managers and employees:

    • Infrastructure: physical and technological

    • Processes and policies: organisation culture; information management; time and productivity management

    • People: mind-sets, leadership and management; relationships and collaboration; and social inclusion through workforce participation.

These three key areas will be addressed in more detail in Part 2 of this module.
