Obviously small businesses exist to sell their goods and/or services to consumers, but many organisations will also want to sell products or solicit donations online. Examples include small retailers selling sporting goods, musical instruments or training courses through to theatre groups selling bookings on-line, soccer clubs selling uniforms or a musician selling her CDs.

The potential benefits of eCommerce can only be maximised by putting your whole payment system online, but can initially involve other methods where products (or services) are selected online but paid for by traditional means.
